What's in a Name?

I love how our children's name are a part of us. We name one and then always wonder what we are going to do for the next. It usually always works out but with this patterned we can't choose something cute and simple anymore. Here's the stories behind their names. Miss Brilee Ann takes in Dad, Mom, Grandma Julee, Great Grandma Judkins, Great Aunt Ann, Mi-Mi, and Aunt Kellan. First, the double "e" was something my Grandma Judkins started with my mom. Grandma spelled my mom's name with two e's; Julee. My Uncle even used the double e with my cousin Jamee. Second, the Ann is Mi-mi's and Kellan's middle name. AND my dad's sister (who has down syndrome and I've met like twice) her name is Ann as well. So that was a great way to remember my dad's sister. Thrid, Mom and Dad. Brian + Amy = Brilee (if you want nitty gritty details the 'l' came from bri's middle name; donald). So what does Brilee mean? Well Brian means noble, strong, virtuous; hill. (oh how appropriate heehee) and Amy means beloved (ahhh, of course). So Brilee means a beloved strong and noble leader...standing on a hill. Ah, Brayland David, one crazy ball of energy! His name was fun! The whole pregnancy I was playing with creative "A" names. nothing was working. A week before he came it all came together so smoothing and ya just know this was it! His name is a bit of it all. BRAYLAND Brian Donald + Amy And my dad's name is David. A bit simpler in the explanation hopefully the color code makes sense. And what does Brayland mean? Taking the meaning of Brian and Amy again and adding the meaning of Donald which is ruler of the world, brown stranger. Oh look we have something very similar and so appropriate for the Hanson Family. A RULER: Strong and loved! Beautiful Amdon Darrell. This was the first time that we had a name chosen months before he was born. it was great to have a name for our unborn baby; we all bonded a little more because of it. And again i was trying to go with the 'A' sound for my name since Brian already had two. :) Well, the middle name again is from Brian's dad. Amdon = Amy + Donald Pretty simple. so what could Amdon mean? Isn't it obvious heehee. Another natural born beloved leader! So that leaves us again with the same question after every child is born. What are we going to name the next. So here are our full names:

Amy Hicks Hanson

We have till December some time to come up with a name for #4.
