Our little Brilee is something else. Every morning we go through the options for breakfast...cereal, yogurt, toast, oatmeal, eggs... she will tell me with her attitude "I can do it myself!" I feel so ugh in the mornings that i'm so "whatever" at that point. I'll i know is i need food. so i go about my business. Brilee proceeds to wonder around the kitchen opening the fridge and then the pantry and back again. she starts to pull out the eggs and some spices. so i let her continue reminding her that she will need a pan and something to stir with. i help out with the Pam and the heat; she cracks the eggs and i instruct on just of pinch of spice. which by the way is the funniest part. She choose Stake seasoning and Thyme. Yuck, i would never go there. but she is four, experiment, and i don't want to crush her spirit. her eggs turn out green and she ate every last morsel. Ironically, a few days later our morning starts out the same and she informs me that she can take care of herself and she pulls out the same spices and makes eggs. love it. Brayland enjoyed some too; he loved it.
AND Brilee taught herself how to blow a bubble! Brilee's first bubble was Monday November 19th, 2007. i tried to get a picture of her bubble but i was also trying to pack for our thanksgiving trip to NE and the camera was all the way downstairs.
