My sister, Amanda, a friend, Sunshine, myself and the kids ventured down to Lexington the 1st of the month to visit the KY Horse Park. Why we would choose to do this outdoor event in very cold weather (not freezing because KY never gets below freezing) is crazy. But is an experience you have to do while in KY. We are going back as a family come spring as a reward for our goal. Our goal is to read all the October Conference talks and discuss them with the family by next conference. we are having fun. the kids are so absorbent -- not attentive -- but the words we say somehow imprint on their minds. okay, side tracking. the horse park is huge and full of horses. i think the kids enjoyed themselves. later that night we drove through the entire park to see all their Christmas lights. that is defiantly going to become a family tradition.
