Sugar Sugar Sugar Cookies

Oooooh, mom, you are going to be so proud of me!!! we made cookies today (sunday) and boy was there a mess! We started before church to let the dough sit in the fridge and we started again after dinner. 5 to 8...three hours and i stayed calm the whole time -- sorta. but they all had so much fun. ok, i had fun too.

Here we are sporten' our cooking attire...Brayland is wearing his PJ bottoms and a little checkered apron; he is very close to his feminine fashion*, Amy is wearing a borrowed shirt from Amanda (thanks so much, i felt like a million bucks today) Amy's protective outwear is a home made birthday gift also from Amanda. Brilee is looking so classic is a simple black dress covered with love and flour.

*Yes, Brayland loves pink. quick side story. he needed warm pajamas and while at walmart i held up two different blue PJs. i'd ask him which one he wanted. he would point over my shoulder and say "that one". i'd walk over and hold up another blue pair. "no, that one." Pink? you want pink? "Yes, pink." well, then we'll just find brilee's pink pj's for you. so now when we wear the pink jammies he doesn't want to take them off. the other morning brian got him dressed and put his pink pj's back on. too funny.

Frosting our cookies. oh and by the way, i am 16 weeks in these pics. can't tell at all....
We were having fun mixing all the colors to make new colors.

i started cleaning and brilee would just move herself to a new clean spot on the table. she could have kept going.

Nice shirt Amy! For some reason it reminds me of when Amanda was pregnant.

Pink, eh? Brayland is just very comfortable with his masculinity, he's not insecure!

thanks for coming to the concert. I hope you enjoyed it. I only wish you would have skipped the first half and seen the last part. That was my favorite part.
