ok. have to share one of my personality disorders. i have no idea what title i would put on it.
so i bought Kosher Salt years ago because Alton Brown had these cookies i just had to try. the salt granules are huge; biting into a huge salt granule next to a chocolate chip was a different yet i wanted more of the weird combo. i know nothing about Kosher Salt or why it is special except that Alton uses it in every episode. i haven't cared enough to research it. so for one teaspoon i have this huge box. to utilize this box of salt i bought a pepper mill, took out the pepper and have been grinding my salt ever since. it is quite the work out to twist that thing over and over again. but i'd rather have the work out knowing i didn't throw away a box of salt that cost less than $2. and look~ i've almost filled up my container...
