brayland and i had a follow up appt with our family doc this morning. he had the results back from his cultured boo boo. Get this! Brayland had Strep A in his knee. Strep A is more commonly know as Strep Throat. isn't that wild?! someone had strep throat, sneezed on his knee or touched their mouth to his knee, or some other mysterious way the virus got into his boo boo. then it turned into the Staph infection. here are some other crazy numbers. our normal white blood cell count is 10,000. Brayland's was 25,800! another number that measure inflammation in our body is normally 4 or 5. Brayland's was 14.5; telling the doctors somewhere in this little body is some inflammation going on. duh. thank goodness for antibiotics!
