We're on the Same Page?

My sister's in-laws introduced me to Brain Reagen. he is a funny clean comedian. because i thought he was so funny i just had to share him. Kellan's birthday was next so she got a Brain R. DVD. we all watched it while bri was out of town. bri's first impression of Brian r wasn't so great because it was CD. when your listening to someone make ridiculous sounds and you can't see what he is doing isn't funny at all. so then we watched the DVD and BRIAN FELL ASLEEP. i was still laughing the fourth time around. so then i was online one afternoon trying to find a way to spend our disney dollars. i wanted to buy tickets to see a live disney show and stumbled across Brian Reagen Live in Louisville! Oh my goodness. i called kellan immediately and we booked a date. of course i wasn't going to tell bri because he would quickly roll his eyes and say no thanks. we disguised it with a ballet. HA. the show was good; we even had a pre-pre show. the two fellas next to me had me crying before the show even started.

now right after i bought Brian Reagen tickets (Brian was out of town). he called me and said, "i was going to surprise you but i felt i needed to run this by you. would you want to go see bill engvall with me?" heehee i couldn't say no, we're already seeing a comedian live this year...
so it was done. on the 13th we saw Brian Reagen and the following weekend we saw Bill Engvall. super funny.

Bill engvall has a special place on my stage. while in high school Trevor Schade put Bill's CD on while we swam in his pool. i was just listening and floating on a noodle. i forgot i was in water a few times; i would laugh, my head would go down and I would choke on the water. hee funny. anyway, i shared bill with amanda and we couldn't stop listening too it. she could do his entire show herself. we are always throwing in bill lines into our convos. she has a funny piece from him on her blog. and here's a funny piece from our fantastic night. ya know i say fantastic because brian sincerely listened to me on the way there and he had to have his arm around me for the entire show. it was too easy for others to inch over into our personal space--chair way too close. so we sat sideways sorta with his arm around. i really miss the innocents of our dating days.

My version of paradise would be the Engvall family as my next door neighbors on one side and the Regan family on the other. Coming home from work would be great, all I would have to do is look at their house and I would laugh! Just think how awesome neighborhood barbecues would be!
