Jo Jo was the best cat ever!
We were spoiled with such a great cat. Mom found him searching on the internet. she saw jo jo's face and said, "Amy, i think it's time for you guys to get a cat." so we drove to shelbyville to meet him. after a few visits and an hour of reassuring Brian that he's not replacing our other cat (bri was very upset at me when i got rid of Kitty while he was on a business trip. i didn't realized how emotionally attached he was. i have a problem with getting not being able to get attached to people let alone animals.) we brought him home. Jo Jo let the kids do anything to him. he cuddled all the time with everyone. obviously. (see above. Sunday afternoon naps) He traded who he slept with. sometimes it was brilee and sometimes it was right between brian and i or my head and then he flew off the bed.
we were told he was strictly an inside cat. yea, that didn't last long. but, he made friends quickly with the fellow felines and he always came home. well, most of the time. his tag said "I'm lost. call 552-0060" we had our neighbors calling all the time. it worked great. but this last time no one called. we found him laying under our deck. he had used up his nine lives. It was a perfect opportunity to teach the children about the Plan of Salvation. and of course i used the classic glove analogy to demonstrate the body and spirit relationship. that's going to need some future reviewing. Brayland still thinks he is going to wake up. and Brilee couldn't stop crying so i don't even know if she heard me. i helped her think about what pet we're going to get next. yea, sadly she wasn't attached either; she quickly cheered up and talked about a new puppy. (no, we are not getting a dog).
We'll miss you JO JO.
