Okay, so maybe it's about time i add some words with the pictures...
This is my dad's brother, Larry, and his wife, Dolly. What wonderful people. too bad we live across the country from each other.
Sunshine and I on our way to Catalina Island. And the women to my left...she looked just like Noelle Gosnell! we joked about that the whole day. "Noelle" spent her day on the island diving. she walked and dressed just like her.
Of course every stop we made i got a chocolate ice cream! BECAUSE I'M ON VACATION AND I CAN!!!
so this is at the end of the day. the whole day we took pictures with our underwater camera. well, sunshine did. i was panicing in the water -- didn't have time for a camera. those pics are in the mail , soon to be added. We took a six mile kyacking trip with our own tour guide and snorkled a bit. it was such a great day...except for the real panic attack...
Bye bye catalina island...so sad. all you see is all that is built up on the island. it is so cute and clean. and ironically as we were walking back to the boat we saw the missionaires sitting on the bench. we walked over to them and said, "you got your mission call to Catalina Island?!?!?!" they were dropped off on the island and told to start up the church.
Saturday morning we drove down to San Deigo and had a personal bike tour over to Cornodo Island.
after our bike ride we were --well, sunshine--was exhausted. she laid in the grass and i went and found ice cream while we waited for the ferry.
