I should be in bed....

hey fam, Brian and I have been out on a fun date tonight. kellan and scott offered to take the kids this evening...(i already had the day off so this was great) the kids are with them til church tomorrow. sweet! so we went and saw the bee movie...cute. i laughed. then we went and bought some pictures for our walls. brian is now the official decorator. i don't care anymore. it really doesn't matter in the eternal scheme of things, right?! so this house is kinda growing on us. and building is losing its luster. building just isn't going as smooth as it started out to be. it is amazing that when you are doing what is right and the lord's will things go smooth; like this house. it is fun that it is becoming our home. and we are more and more comfortable with the idea of being in crestwood 2nd ward. bri is really going to miss his scout master calling. i, on the other hand, am ok with saying good-bye to YW secretary.

Mom, i'm on the up swing this weekend. i got a new cookbook, made a menu that should last two weeks and went grocery shopping this morning. i feel like i'm on top of the mess again. that is, when my nausea goes away around 11 or 12 in the morning. it is so amazing how each pregnancy is so different. i don't remember blowen' down the house with the first two. you'd think i was raised in the sticks...i'll spare you the details.

so yes, i had the day off today. so needed! my devoted friend sunshine and i went and ran some of my dinky errands and then ate dinner at Bravo. fantastic Italian restaurant! She babysat the kids two night in a row and put them to bed and stayed until 11 or later while we were working like mad people on this house. so i was paying her back.

so here is a funny story! friday night, last night, brilee was playing mom while bri and i were moving some furniture. she took brayland up to his room and proceeded to get his pj's on. she casually came back downstairs and said mom, brayland has a poopy diaper...oh my goodness, i thought, there is going to be poop everywhere. brand new carpet! oh gross, i don't' want to deal with this...so i go up stairs with her and all poop is still in the diaper; thank goodness! so where is brayland? oh yes, in his dog cage (under his crib) with poop all over his bum. so i pick up the crib like it was a leaf and move it to the side. brayland was not going to come out willingly. i pick him up and quickly scan for any signs of poo on the carpet...just a pee spot. which by the way, he is starting to acknowledge the pee feeling...haven't quite made it to the toilet yet. the rug around the toilet is definitely going to have to be replaced...but bathroom stuff is so expensive. i've wanted to dec their bath out in cute froggy stuff...10 bucks for the soap dispenser, 10 for the toothbrush holder...i didn't even look at the price of the cute froggy rug. i'll have to do some online shopping later...ok side tracked. braylands poop was so raunchy that his poor bum was flaming red; he wouldn't let me touch him. so we had to give him a bath...it is incredible how one thing leads to another. so he is standing on his changing table, half naked, while i'm running up and down the stairs getting carpet cleaner, rags, and the vacuum. pee hopefully gone and brayland quickly scrubbed. he smelled so good. i love this soap i bought...i think it is sweet pea by someone...i don't remember. but i'll have to get more of that. so pj's on and we read books in our book nook.

ok, i think i'm done. hope you enjoyed reading. love ya all.

Yeah, long post!
Curious though one could write about a poop diaper . . . I think I’m finally past the diaper stage.

Nice what therapy can do . . . it doesn’t bother, bother, bother me any more.

Me likey.

Wow. Sounds like quite the day. Thanks for the update. Hope the nausea subsides soon. We'd love to see progress photos of you (& the house)-no puking included please.

Amy,

Enjoyed the pictures of the kids hiking in Nebraska.

The pictures of the house look great. Add a outside picture when you have time so everyone can see the front side.

Glad to hear that Brilee is enjoying making breakfast in the mornings. A nice break for you as the kids mature and become a little more independent.
