We're at the Hospital!

Unfortunately, it isn't for Baby Amdon. Brayland has the fun times for a couple of days at the hospital this week. He has to stay because the antibiotic he needs has to be taken through an IV in the beginning. an oral wouldn't work fast enough. so here's the story: and his knee is all red when it is extended; turns white like this when it's bent. last week brayland got a scrape on his knee; big deal. saturday he was jumping on the trampoline and his boo boo reopened. again, no big whoop. sunday he was normal. monday morning he woke up very upset and limping on his left leg. his boo boo had grown and was full of lovely yellow puss. so we cleaned it out. the kids went to Mi-mi's while i went to my doctor's visit. i've progressed to 75% effaced and dilated to a 3. i come back and hang out with Karen for awhile and notice Brayland isn't really himself. i had a strong impression to call our family doc for a follow up appt. brayland had an ear infection about

Our New Van!

I've been waiting to tell the fun news until i had some pics, but that's not gonna happen. so yes, we bought a van while brian was in New Mexico and I in Nebraska. he he. I shopped online in Omaha and Crestwood online and found two great deals at Cottage Car Sales just around the corner in crestwood . they had prepaid for the car reports so i knew exactly what i was getting. we settled on a 2001 Honda Odyssey charcoal grey. it has all the little extras that we were hoping for and we only paid $....yea, i don't know if i should share that or not. Anyway, the timing on all of this was beautiful. While i was driving to Nebraska i got a call from my friend Sunshine. her car was a driving pop can and it had finally died. and before she called i had this thought that we could sell our Malibu to her. so i call bri on a friday and tell him my idea. he would think about it; because at that point we really had not shopped yet. so monday it was confirmed for Sunshin

hey fam , Brian and I have been out on a fun date tonight. kellan and scott offered to take the kids this evening...(i already had the day off so this was great) the kids are with them til church tomorrow. sweet! so we went and saw the bee movie...cute. i laughed. then we went and bought some pictures for our walls. brian is now the official decorator. i don't care anymore. it really doesn't matter in the eternal scheme of things, right?! so this house is kinda growing on us. and building is losing its luster. building just isn't going as smooth as it started out to be. it is amazing that when you are doing what is right and the lord's will things go smooth; like this house. it is fun that it is becoming our home. and we are more and more comfortable with the idea of being in crestwood 2 nd ward. bri is really going to miss his scout master calling. i, on the other hand, am ok with saying good-bye to YW secretary.
