Two of a Kind

we share genes.
we share(d) (maternity) clothes.
we share ideas and duh moments.
we've even shared boys...hehe (or rather, they shared us unintentionally) (and get your minds outta the gutter, nothing inappropriate).

we copy each other, too.
Amanda copied my seminary homework (home-study) and taste in music.
I copy her natural (childbirth & whole food) efforts and her digiscrap interest.

we have matching Cheney cheekbones.
and matching purses (purchased in two different states, unknowingly).
so, we made matching key rings.

The key rings all started because we were going insane...

You try entertaining three kids 24/7 in a non-childproof house! Oh yeah, it's raining, windy, cold and muddy...we're wearing out our welcome at the zoo...they told us to take our sleeping bags home...and no, the kids can't play in the cages with the gorillas.

We left all the kids yesterday afternoon and evening with Grandma and Grandpa and had some much needed girl time. We originally sought out a baby boutique that sold Bravdo bras (Amanda's a bit frustrated with maternity bras because nothing comes in 32) But this place did and we even called beforehand to make sure they had that size in stock. "Oh yeah, we carry them all!" 25 minutes later, we arrived and there wasn't a single 32 in the whole place! grr. But we did have fun! "Does this baby make my butt look big" & "My pod holds two peas" T-Shirts and our favorite onsie: "Made in bed." I did find some pretty awesome maternity pants for $175 (it was a hard pass; the pants reached the floor and my butt looked hot, but a crib is a bit more realistic). Since the store was a dud (practically speaking), we dinked around in the other boutique-ish shops. We found a 4-inch piece of ribbon for $12! Oh yeah, it had an attached d-ring and an embroidered initial. Beastie Boys cue: But we're crafty, we get around. We went through that whole store saying, "Oh, we could make that." "Easy!" "They want how much?" Back to this overpriced, 4-inch piece of ribbon...long story short, I took Brilee to Michaels this morning (with the intention of getting crafts for the kids to occupy them for a few days...uh, they're all done...what are we going to do!? the comment section has become a virtual suggestion box for that there problemo!) and found some ribbon and d-rings for pennies in comparison. Amanda whipped these key rings out during nap time and a movie. i was there for support.

oh yea, back to our list at the top we forgot to add that we have been told that our laugh is identical. amanda and i have had way too much fun giggle about this blog entry. i hope you giggle as hard as we did.
